Field Application Engineer This key position will report to the Vice President of Product Marketing. Responsibilities include interfacing with customer design and engineering management to provide inputs and validate feature sets for future product developments; collaborating with sales to achieve high impact design wins at key accounts in targeted application focus areas; developing reference designs and building evaluation platforms; generating Application Notes and providing applications support to sales and customers as required. The ideal candidate will have a BSEE with a minimum of 5 years experience in a FAE or related role. Experience in microcontroller-based design and coding and mixed signal/analog products a definite plus. Must possess excellent communications skills and have demonstrated capability in presenting technical material to both internal and external customers. Must also be able to forge strong customer relationships. This position will be based out of the corporate offices in Albuquerque, New Mexico and will require 25% travel.
