REACH Compliance Policy

Innovasic Semiconductor requests information from our suppliers to ensure our compliance with regards to Article 33 of the European REACH Regulation N 1907/2006 on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals which has entered into force on June 1, 2007.

With the publication of the "candidate list" (Article 59 REACH) on 28 October 2008, Article 33(1) of the REACH Regulation obliges suppliers to inform the recipients of the presence of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). At present, 16 substances have been included in the "candidate list".

Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC):

  1. Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or toxic to Reproduction (CMR), meeting the criteria for classification in Category 1 or 2 in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC,
  2. Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic (PBT) or very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative (vPvB) according to the criteria in Annex XIII of the REACH Regulation, and/or
  3. Identified, on a case-by-case basis, from scientific evidence as causing probable serious effects of human health or the environment of an equivalent level of concern as those above (e.g. endocrine disruptors).

Based on available information and analytical data from our suppliers, none of the restricted chemicals are contained in any substance, chemical, part or assembly supplied in Innovasic's products.
